52nd Grammy Awards Nominations

The list of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Nominees was already released and guess what? Tia was nominated again!
Tia Carrere and Daniel Ho both won a Grammy for 'Ikena in the 51st Annual Grammy Awards (in the category "Best Hawaiian Music Album") and were now nominated again, this time for He Nani. Do not forget that they were also nominated for Hawaiiana in the 50th Annual Grammy Awards.
Tia's really working on getting invited for the Grammys every year, as she said once.
It's time now for us to cross our fingers and hope they win again.

He Nani - Tia Carrere and Daniel Ho

[Above: Cover Picture]
I believe I have mentioned here that Tia and Daniel Ho were going to release a new albun in July. So, it wasn't in July, actually, but they did released it.
It's called He Nani. I don't know what it means yet, there isn't much about the new album on the internet, but as soon as I find out I'll post it here.
"'He Nani' might not be a Grammy winner in 2010, but it will do Hawaii proud if it is.", says John Berger from Star Bulletin.
Go to the Daniel Ho Creations for more information.
In both Daniel Ho Creations and Star Bulletin you can download the demo versions of a few songs of the album.

SDNN article
There was a really great article by Helen Kaiao Chang posted on San Diego News Network's site about Tia that I felt like mentioning it here.
Here is the link to the article.
It is about Tia's singing career, her performance alongside Daniel Ho at San Diego’s Birch North Park Theater this month, her upcoming movies "You may not kiss the bride", and "Rell Sun". Tia and Daniel's third album together is also mentioned, it's called "Henani" and is due out in July.
