Just like last year, Tia will be hosting the Grammy Awards pre-telecast ceremony tomorrow, January 31st, 2010.
The ceremony is going to be streamed live at grammy.com, starting at 1 p.m. PT.
This year Tia will be co-hosting the pre-telecast with Kurt Elling, that is also a nominee.

The list of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Nominees was already released and guess what? Tia was nominated again!
Tia Carrere and Daniel Ho both won a Grammy for 'Ikena in the 51st Annual Grammy Awards (in the category "Best Hawaiian Music Album") and were now nominated again, this time for He Nani. Do not forget that they were also nominated for Hawaiiana in the 50th Annual Grammy Awards.
Tia's really working on getting invited for the Grammys every year, as she said once.
It's time now for us to cross our fingers and hope they win again.

Tia's whole Grammy outfit costed less than $100 dollars.
According to her, the dress was bought on Ebay for $30 dollars, the purse on downtown LA for $18, and earrings for $15.
"It's my statement for ecomonics time". - Said Tia Carrere.

She even joked saying "I can't believe I'm holding this priceless artifact with a $30 dress."

Congratulations to Tia and Daniel Ho.
They won the 2009 Grammy for Best Hawaiian Music Album last Sunday (February, 8th).
The actress/singer was the first woman to win Best Hawaiian Music Ablun since this category was created in 2005.

"This is ridiculous, I wasn't expecting this.I thought I was going to lose to Daniel Ho again, instead I won to him, won with him, anyway, I am not worthy, I am truly not worthy of the people in this room". - Tia said in her acceptance speech.

Tia Carrere and Wayne Brady will host the Grammy Awards Pre-Telecast at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on February 8, 2009.
Categories of the Grammy Awards will be announced and it'll feature some live performances.
Tia will sing the opening song of the pre-telecast.
